Image
From my five responses people our website needed to feature more behind the scenes footage. Also most people said they would recommend our website to other people. This is our website before it was changed see link below   The first thing we our going to change is the clarity of the buttons.

Website review

The most dominant feature on the website that stands out is the animation of the falling pills.  This is because it immediately attracts the viewers eye. As it is an connotation which we would not normally expect to appear when we enter the homepage.  Also the word The Cut is represented in the colour black which can help to associate the website with symbolising it with the theme of crime.  There is music at the top left hand side which helps to create emotion and set the scene and helps the viewer to understand what genre this website is trying to promote and advertise for its target audience. the slogan underneath the title (The Cut) (What choice will you choose) implies to the viewer that this website features an interactive film and there are many roots that they can choose from. There is a gallery section featured on the homepage which shows pictures of some of the cast. This helps to establish a connection with the audience and the characters that are feat

Music for group and individual soundtrack

For scene one my group has agreed a suspense genre to create tension and atmosphere , The party scene will consist of the RNB / hip hop genre to represent  your typical , rough and rowdy drug dealers . As the camera moves from the opening to scene to the individual a heart beat will be created. There will be the use of sound effects  in my scene when i'm at the party scene.

Pete's final report

In this report I am going to be discussing three elements that are used to produce and make the characteristics of a film, these will consist of genre codes and conventions, interactive-branching narratives and conventions of script writing. The first element I am going to acknowledge in this report is why a layout of a screenplay is important to the director and actors during pre-production and the production process. A screen play allows the actors who are acting the parts in a film to see when they are meant to be saying their lines in the film. Another benefit of a screenplay is that it also actors to have things clearly broken down. It allows the actors to research the part they are playing, to learn any skills they may need for that part, and to immerse themselves in that character. The screenplay also includes visual information about the locations and environment  and it has to give an amount of depth of the position of the actor in relation to environment and other acto

Genre notes pete's report

Genre refines the context of the film . Cookey and game shows are different formats. Our groups' interactive film genre is a crime drama. Four examples of a crime drama : Kiri , CSI, Sherlock, How to Get Away with Murder. For instance, Sherlock contains knives and weapons. 'Kiri' is a crime drama which is mostly about murder. All four examples relate to our interactive film because  they all have gangsters, weapons and violence, make the audience feel tension, excitement and more interest in what is going on in the film.  This relates to my groups' interactive film as there will feature violence, weapons and strong language . In addition to this there is a link with categories of genres in the film and the hypodernic needle theory, which implies that the conventions that I have referred to in the examples above , I.E weapons and violence  is what the audience expect to feel. On one hand conventions are good because they help the audience to establish whether som

Alcohol scene breakdown Scene 1     Scene 1     Calum Henry and Lottie are standing outside Hawthorn building drinking alcohol. (Misty atmosphere in the air from the haze of smoke from the group of people smoking) Henry is trying to persuade them to take drugs. Out of the corner of Alice’s eye, she notices that Lottie has a knife. Henry calls Alice over and asks her join them.  Question asked (Does Alice Join Yes or No?)   Scene 2 A   Alice agrees to go along to a rowdy party that is based outside the back of the building of Hawthorn, there is a rowdy atmosphere, everyone is drinking although Alice only drinks water, meanwhile Henry is persuading Calum to sniff some cocaine, but Calum is mellow and chilled and carries on smoking his weed.   After Calum has refused to take the cocaine he then intimidates Alice because she is only drinking water. As a result of Henry’s anger he takes his fist and punches her in the fac
