Genre notes pete's report
Genre refines the context of the film . Cookey and game shows are different formats. Our groups' interactive film genre is a crime drama. Four examples of a crime drama : Kiri , CSI, Sherlock, How to Get Away with Murder. For instance, Sherlock contains knives and weapons. 'Kiri' is a crime drama which is mostly about murder. All four examples relate to our interactive film because they all have gangsters, weapons and violence, make the audience feel tension, excitement and more interest in what is going on in the film. This relates to my groups' interactive film as there will feature violence, weapons and strong language . In addition to this there is a link with categories of genres in the film and the hypodernic needle theory, which implies that the conventions that I have referred to in the examples above , I.E weapons and violence is what the audience expect to feel.
